  1. what's up overclockersdream i run an exos on one system and a reserator on the other, the ambient temp of my room where these things are located generally runs around 70 deg f. waterblock idle temps for the exos run a consistent 27 deg c (about 80 deg f) and full load on temps at about 31 deg c, (you can expect the processor on-die temp to be about 10 deg c hotter, 41 deg c or 112 deg f +/-). the processor that this thing is hooked up to is a revision b xp2700+ running at anywhere from 2.2 to 2.5ghz, it also cools the ati aiw 9700pro's gpu. the reserator cools an fx-53 running at stock settings. it's waterblock idle temps run much closer to the ambient room temp of about 70 deg f, but full load temps get up to 33 deg c, (or about 120 deg c. on die, please note my f to c deg conversions are approximate) anyway both of these h2o systems are extremely easy to install, and they both work well as long as you don't intend on oc'ing to the point of generating temps that approach nuclear fusion. i purchased them both at fried electronics and probably paid somewhat over $200 for each, you can probably find them over the net for less though. hope this helps ps, if it's a concern there is nothing quieter than the zalman reserator bro
  2. a zalman reserator 1 works great with my fx-53, although they say it's not for overclocking, with full load on-die temps at 41 deg c (ambient temps @ 27 deg c) it leaves plenty of room for experimenting, it is totally silent and estheically superior to most anything else out there. another great performer is koolance's "exos", i've oc'd my rev b xp2700+ up to 2.7ghz (2.187 stock) with this thing and never had a problem. i'd say unless you're into serious oc'ng, anything over 3/8" id is overkill. what ever you choose though, good luck brennan2374

hey folks new to the forums so i thought i'd take a brief moment to introduce myself. like to say that i'm young...intelligent...good looking...and rich none of which would be true <_< i also know next to nothing about hardware (and even less about software) B) i do know how to ask questions though. like what is that thing in the lower left had corner of the screen...looks like some kind of meter or something. it says "warn%" then a couple dots after it? i could be parnoid but sort of looks like it might be tracking how many "warnings" an indivdual recieves...if so why am i the only one who is being tracked? has my reputation preceded me
