Onion Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) I'm trying to setup FTP on my Cisco E3200. I managed to set up a flash drive to work as a network drive hooked up to my router, which worked with no issue. However, when I try to set up the FTP feature, it doesn't connect. I'm using the right port (21), and I'm connecting with the IP address that my router provided me. Any tips? I'd like to get this set up to work like my own little dropbox. I'm trying to connect from my android phone and I'm using ES File Explorer. Edit: My phone says "Error, can not find the FTP (XX.XXX.XXX.XXX) server." XX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP which I've hidden. Onion Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Never mind... I hit enabled for the FTP server in the settings and I guess the selection didn't stick. I looked at it all from the beginning and noticed that it was on disabled. Flicked it to enabled, saved, tried to load the FTP, and it works. Woohoo, free dropbox!
