GabrielT Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) For the sub location, no can do, because I do not hear tones lower than 400 Hz in my left ear. Even worse, I cannot distinguish tones (mid range) with this ear. I was born with that defect, instead of being Dragonborn. I used to be a tuba player, until I received an arrow in the ear. My main concern with subs is that they screw up the frequency response, which my right ear can perfectly detect. PS Maybe we should discuss of this in an audio thread instead The audio forum on this site is pretty much dead, we could try to breath life into it I will meet you down there. GabrielT Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Well, 10 feet of 10ga stinger speaker wire, 2 heavy duty speaker terminals, 2 new jigsaw blades, some more wood glue (forgetting that I must have 5 bottles) 4 feet of 2ga ground wire, 1lb of torx 1.5" wood screws, 1 1/8" drill bit with countersink, a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" MDF, and a small assortment of ring terminals. My buddy got his subs ripped off and I decided to build him a new box to go with his new 12"s. The police did manage to get his head unit, and amplifier back.
