Waco Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I wouldn't say that waco has brains..... No, but I do have a faster car than l33t and I'm a better driver.

I still think you should take your car to a drag strip and we can compare times. By the way, I'll just leave this here. Yes, that's me. I'm preeeetty sure his SS would walk on your GTI in the 1/4 mile.
Waco Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I'm preeeetty sure his SS would walk on your GTI in the 1/4 mile. Without a doubt. At the wheels I've got a LOT more power. Even if his is an automatic I've got the edge especially with my new tires.

Cobalt SS stock 0-60 is similar to the GTI. You might be right though, the tiger stripes add 100 hp! @Waco, if you're so sure, why won't you take your SS to the strip and post a time? Do you have the supercharged, n/a, or turbocharged cobalt? Edited March 23, 2012 by l33t p1mp

Onion Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 What you got Stage 1 in that beast? Here's an approximate dyno chart for my car. Yes, it is from the same company as my tune.
MJCRO Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) That's a nice remap! They did a good job on the torque band. Anything else done other than the tune? Waco, looks like this Golf has got you beat. Edited March 23, 2012 by MJCRO

Not to be mean...but the tiger stripes you are complaining about are on MY car. They do add 100 hp, my car would be way to slow else wise. haha
Waco Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Waco, looks like this Golf has got you beat. Except that my Cobalt is both supercharged and tuned. I've got over 240 HP at the wheels and a powerband so flat from 2K up you might confuse it with Natalie Portman. Also - weren't we supposed to be talking about your car? I thought the GTI wasn't yours.
Onion Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Mjcro, I'll get stage two once I get a down pipe and intake. Waco, post a dyno chart.
