  1. For your information for the FX 6100 and the FX4100 they have a max core temp of 70 Degres Celsius. All other Fx processors are 61.1. If you do not want to take my word for it, call Amd Global Tech for North America. In fact I am going to double check on Monday. You may have more headroom than you thought you had.
  2. The FX4100 and FX 6100 Max core temps are 70 Degrees Celsius. Go Figure.
  3. Remember that Maximum Recommended Core Temp for all Fx processors, except the 4100 and 6100, is 61.1 Degrees Celsius. The socket can be hotter. There is no real recommendation for it. This is the word from Amd Global Tech Support. If you disagree call them and they will dack up what I say. Remmember that you can probably fudge a little and be ok. This is just FYI. See if it is socket temp or core temp. Either way you should be ok. But I woukd be carefull about letting core temps get above 65 Degrees celcius
  4. The Noctua fan mentioned is 93.4 cubic meter per hour. Cmph is how they list the speed of their fans. That converts to 54.9 cfm. This fan is best used as an intake or cpu fan.
  5. If you Have a Motherboard like my Asus M5A99FX with 5 pwm fan Headers you can go all Pwm fans. I have a pwm on my heatsink. The rest are 3 pin on a Sunbeamtech Rheosmart 6 Fan controller. I have 2 Rigs with 6 Fans each.
