The card used supports 12 drives, so 12 would have made more sense... for that card...

 

I don't understand why Corsair didn't make use of multiple RAID cards

because 11 SSDs are expensive enough :bah:

hardnrg has a very strong and valid point that I really did not expect to come up in this debate.

 

12 is a lot better than 11.

 

I was all about 11 being better then 10, and it still is, but it is clear that 12 beats them both hands down and for that fact alone 12 SSD's should have been used.

 

Why anyone would waste their time with 10 or 11 of anything completely boggles my mind when 12 is significantly better.

yea why not add in another card and 12 more SSDs...? I mean come on you have slots left...why not use them all...

 

If we are going for a record and absurd then populate all slots with RAID cards and SSDs right...?
