  3. Scratch that, I'm sorry - I should have done stuff before I asked. I can now get passed that message.. just not.. it does that - would you like to boot system normally or in safe mode. I've done both: Safe mode- I get to log in screen but my mouse and keyboard shut off. Regular - I do the Windows loading screen before you log in - and then after 20secs or so.. Blue screen of death, then resetting of computer. I'm trying to reformat now, hopefully that fixes it? Thanks a lot guys! If I need further help, I'll switch to software section of the forum. Thanks..! Lejaregg (not Joe ;D )
  4. Process of eliminating everything and adding connection by connection, piece by piece.. the result ? 8-pin connector not connected. Please! Laugh at me, because.. I feel quite stupid myself! Now there's a new problem though?.. I get passed the BIOS picture thing.. and it just says Loading Operating System..... lol. Reasoning?
  5. Hey guys, I have a slight problem. I'm putting together a build right not, and I have enough parts (with some older parts I had) to actually run the computer. The only problem is, when I have everything connected.. all my fans in my HAF 932 turn on(Blue LEDs and all), GPU fan turn on, CPU fan turn on, my external harddrive even lights up with the extreme orange is does.. speaker light comes on.. but I don't hear the motherboard do that beep.. If there is a light on the motherboard somewhere, it's not on.. My monitor has no response whats-o-ever not even the "no signal".. My monitor's stand-by light doesn't even switch from orange to blue like it does when I use other computers with it(but it eventually switches back if that computer isn't working, if you know what I mean) I felt the harddrive, I can't tell if it's running or not.. but even with a dead harddrive, my monitor will still display BIOS right? Clearly my PSU is not dead, because my fans turn on.. The build is: COOLER MASTER HAF 932 ACER 19" LCD Flatscreen GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4 CORSAIR DDR3 1600MHz 4GB RAM (2GB a stick)(2 sticks) AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition CORSAIR TX750W Powersupply BFG Nvidia 8500 GT (only in until I get the real GPU) Western Digital WD2500KS 250GB HD ASUS Quiet Track DVD/RW lightscribe drive. Could it be my RAM? It says it can support up to 1866MHz on everything I look up about it but it never specifies the different DDR3 speeds you can put into the slots. I don't know what the problem is.. I'm thinking it might be the GPU.. yet, I doubt it. If you have anything to help, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a family friend IT dude come over tomorrow, and he might help me.. Idk. Thanks in advance, Joe
  6. So, I just purchased the GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4. I'm using this board with a complete set of parts as well, that I'm purchasing. I haven't bought the ATI GPU I'm planning on buying yet, but the GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4.. should be here soon. My question is, "Can you use NVIDIA cards on this mobo?" The reason for this question is because on some of the reviews on Newegg the people say they have NVIDIA cards in them? Not to mention, I'm impatient and want to use my computer once the mobo comes in, for photoshop work, and I can just use my old 8500 GTSs(lmfao.) for the time being. Thanks in advance, Lejaregg
  7. I found a "Blue edition" with three 240mm blue LED fans included. The other one - "Red edition (aka) Original" - only had 1 red LED fan and two regular 240mm. I like LEDs personally, so I shot out for the "Blue Edition" - which with shipping and everything came out to be I think $140 or $150 on Newegg. But, the day after - I discovered the AMD edition - and I was like, "DAMNIT." because the dragon on the side just looks sweet. But then someone on this thread of on the Newegg 'comments' on the product said that there was 1 less 240mm fan and/or no fan space at all on the side due to the whole piece of Plexiglas that is added for the fusion dragon mod. Not to mention the color of the case is honestly hideous. :] So I'm figuring when I get this case (supposedly tomorrow) - I'll probably mod it with a fusion dragon sleeve or something that I can find online. Or make it myself. I'll probably paint the inside - I don't know yet about that. -Lejaregg
  8. Yeah I WISH - I saw this - because I bought the case - and I saw the limited AFTER I bought the damned thing! The AMD one is sexy looking : [ I can return it can't I not? & just swap ? EDIT: That's very true - I didn't notice that. I might just find some way to get the fusion dragon on there.. MOD it somehow - I feel the air vents are more important than a sweet image on the Plexiglas - good call. xD Not to mention the red looks.. stupid.
  9. Well first off, what are you going to be doing with this computer? -Blue-ray, movies -Games -Photo-editting? If games - what games are you planning to play & at what settings If photo-editting - what progams would you be using? Unless you are a memory junky and burn through harddrives like a demon - then I would keep this sized drive. But if you are looking to save a bit of money - In my opinion, I would move down to maybe 500GB? TB is just a bragging right - not a lot of people actually fill up half of those.. Unless you are one of those guys that do. xD
  10. I think I meant to put 230mm - not 140mm(?) I was referring to the stock fans. xD & are you saying it comes with a fan controller - or are you referring to the one I stated being a good one? Thanks, Lejaregg
  11. I realized you didn't really have the 140mm fans - at least from what I could see. Are the 140mm fans bad? Or do you just get really good cooling with several 120mms? If you could get real good cooling from the 120mms - what fans would you recommend? I also am planning to buy a fan controller, I don't know if you had one or not - but, do you know any reliable ones? I'm looking at the ZALMAN ZM-MFC1 Fan Controller Panel. Thanks for the reply, & thanks in advance if you reply again, Lejaregg.
  12. Hey guys! So I've really been looking at the COOLER MASTER HAF 932 All I wanted to know - is your personal opinions of the case. If it is good for overclocking? Upgrading? Possible big CPU cooler? I'm not looking for other recommendations at the moment. My new build's guts (If you need to know?): DVD Drive: Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Rewritable Drive Black SATA Model AD-7240S-0B MB: GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4 AM3 AMD 790X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Motherboard GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 5850 1GB PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 2 DDR3 1600 CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders Thanks, Lejaregg
  13. Sorry, I take this back - I'll just stick with 4GB of 1600MHz - If I need more later.. I'll get it. I'm just a bit trigger happy about computer hardware. As you can see - all of this is going to be better than what I have now. :] -Lejaregg
  14. See, here I was thinking the 9800GTs were real good - and just one card around the same prize can beat them both? Do you recommend me getting two 5850's? Another question, should I consider 1800MHz RAM - possibly another stick of 2GB DDR3 of 1800MHz if I were to get 1800MHz or does the 200Mhz honestly not make that big of difference? Should I just stick with getting maybe another 2GB of 1600MHz? Thanks a lot for the help.. judging by the fact I actually did need it! xD @minigeek The only reason why I've been looking at Tigerdirect is because I believe there is a store near me - so shipping would be a bit less I would assume, and I like the interface. But Newegg, I prefer - and you are right - I should probably go with Newegg, because I've always bought my parts from there. -Lejaregg
  15. 1. Get a new computer that rapes. 2. Take this rape-age - and use it to rape other people online. 3. Learn to overclock the shiat out of the new build, to get more rape.
