  1. program called gammalaunch http://www.pulsarsoftware.com/products/gammalnch.htm i have used it and it works great. my monitor is dark in games but with this its very bright
  2. they stay pretty cool. they arent that close together.. the camera angle kind of makes it look close. some of the cold air from the intake fans drift up that way too
  3. hmm i use a dog dryer that my mom has (she grooms/trains dogs) blows air really fast and alot of it it gets the job done nicely and i have never had a problem
  4. Well I have my computer all apart because i am doing another mod so i decided to take the time to show off 2 of the mods i have already done.. I want to eventually have a water cooling system but i also have alot of hard drives so i needed to think of a way to fit all 5 of my hard drives into my chieftec case and also have room to fit a large radiator in front of 4 80mm intake fans.. A few problems existed with chieftecs stock configuration... if i left the hard drive racks like they were i would not have enough room for the large radiator i wanted to fit in there.. also it is very hard to fit 4 fans in the bottom section of a chieftec because of the front clips. soo here is what i did i built a new hard drive and floppy rack to mount the drives vertical. this allowed me enough room underneath to put in the fans. as far as mounting the fans i had to build a kind of riser thing to mount the fans away from the clips that hold on the front. this also made it easier to remove the fans when needed. i think everything has turned out perfectly and i have had no problems whatsoever with the configuration. (go to http://jbean.netfirms.com/mods/rack/ if the image links dont work)

  6. just cleaned my desk. texas pride
  7. GeForce4 Ti4600 just killed it today installing a new hsf... not totally dead just colorful lines all over my screen digital camera 2 Mx500's i have bad luck with them and the right button sticking really really bad
  8. my overall grasp of it was good too but the ending could have been much better if they had answered some important questions with more than 1 line. anyways this isnt a matrix thread so i wont go into those questions
  9. great movie. it reminded me of 1984 kind of what with thought control and big brother and whatnot
  10. hehe just got back from the movie me and 4 friends skipped college and came to my house where i had a rigged up movie theater. the entire wall was filled up by the projection from my friends projector as well as nice surround sound going on. anyways we watched the first 2 extended editions then hopped in the car to go see the third. it was everything i expected and more 9.5/10 (the ending thing was weird but bareable i would rather it be like that than having a bunch of questions at the end coughMATRIXcough)
  11. Ive actually been playing with it a bit now. If you turn your Hardware acceleration off or at least down it should take the screen shot. Turns out it has something to do with that. Anyways. Go to display propeties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot tab and slide that bar over to the left.. you should be able to take the screenshot then. then you can move it back to normal after you are done. i tested it out and it worked for me with windows media player.
  12. oi.. sorry for the bad advice that program doesnt seem to work either <_< BUT if you have powerdvd it has a built in screen capture feature that i am positive works. just play your movie with it and take the screen capture. sorry again
  13. try using the program called snag it. it will take a screen shot of your pc. you can even make it take a screen shot of a certain area of the screen. and even more you can have it make a video of what you are doing on your screen http://www.techsmith.com/download/snagitdefault.asp
