  1. Ya, know, you get to see a OVERCLOCKERSCLUB REVIEW, and then ... you do not get any overclock results. (or did i missed it ?) Maybe it is just me, but thats just plain reta.....uh...errr...wrong.
  2. WOW, instant classic imo. "How low can you go" Isnt it possible to solder off some Mem, lowering your score even further.
  3. I'm having two of those P1 133 coolers, one is already been modified by me to fit on the memory modules, the other one is still untouched. The only problem is letting the cooler stick to my card, its too small for mounting holes. Im thinking of thermal adhesive, but i dont know if its able to hold it with an fan on it. The memory is another problem, the heatsink is too small to cover all the four memory modules. Im going to saw it up, it'll cover the centre of the modules, if the fan still fits on it ill do that too. Hehe, this will be one punny little GeForce 2MX. BTW, i'm lucky the GF2 was from Asus, they equipped it with faster memory so it could be in theory clocked at 263Mhz (of course i want to go faster then that). The only faster card is the Gainward GF2mx Golden Sample wich has 3.5ns memory (285Mhz). *Edit* ... gainward uses 4.5ns memory, asus 4.8ns, making the 'max' speed 222Mhz & 208Mhz *Edit*
  4. Is the cooling of a Pentium 1 133Mhz a better cooler then the stock V7100Pro? I want to mod the old thingy to preform better than my max 250/250 o/c . This is the card: This is the P1 cooler wich i want to paste on:
  5. ... most AMD Athlon 64's are stuck at 209 mhz, it'l probably wont go further then that.
  6. Well ill attach his CPUz output file. Here it is. BTW, he didnt do anything to it, no overclocking and stuff, it was just stock.
  7. An friend of mine bought an sempron 2200+, i made an CPUz html output of it. I compared it to an normal Athlon XP 2200+, here are both specs. SEMP. - ATHL. XP FSB -400 - 266 MULTIPLIER -9 - 13.5 CLOCK -1800 - 1800 LEVEL 2 CACHE -256 - 256
  8. TI 4400 has higher voltages, making higher clocks possible...
  9. PCI-E doesnt even gives an 6800Ultra or an X850XT PE an boost of 5%...kinda crappy actually . SLI gives about 85% more preformance in GPU based benchmarks, 2 6600GT's are faster than an single 6800GT.
  10. Hey ppl is it smart to flash my creative geforce 4Ti 4200, i dont have an spare GPU or any pci cards but i really want it flashed. Also wich bios should i use?
  11. I finaly installed my Athlon XP 3000+, a Zalman CNSP7000B-Cu Heatsink, POV Geforce 6800GT, and another piece of 512Mb PC3200 Ram (making a total of 768Mb) . I booted Win XP and installed the drivers, DX9.0c, etcetra. Well i was really exited so i started 3DMark03....30sec later my pc fell out, and it would'nt start anymore. My upgrade killed my 300W (160W 3.3v+5v combined) power supply. ...Yes i know that a 350W power supply or better was recommended for my 6800GT but i didnt know that it could kill him. So does anyone knows an PSU for +-
  12. Is it smart to use it only for games and benchmarks? BTW if ya wanna laugh check these movies out, made it myself. (was 5hr busy making it) Please give your opinion. This one was for testing my skills only, nothing fancy: Ghost Story - Prelude http://x2game.741.com/Stuff/Ghost%20Story%201.WMV This one is the real stuff: Ghost Story - BloodSailor http://x2game.741.com/Stuff/Ghost%20Story%202.WMV
  13. Uh.. already thought of it... I'm having an 3000+ laying next to my monitor waiting for an Tornado 12, and im looking for an 6800GT, when they're available again (in the Netherlands) i'll get one. So.. is Raid 0 worth it and what should i get then?
  14. Me have lit'l question. I have an Asus a7v8x-x and i've heard that Striping (Raid 0, i think) gives an huge speed boost. But my MoBo neither has SATA nor an Raid controller, is it worth buying an PCI Raid controller and a ATA -> SATA converter or two SATA HD's. If so, wich should i buy and should i buy two indentical HD's or doesnt it matter. By the way, i dont want to buy another MoBo, i just want to have the fastest Athlon XP.
  15. As far as i know Asus has only an 6800 non-GT (6800 Gamers edition with 256MB GDDR3) and an normal 6800Ultra. I just want an 6800GT. BTW. I also think ASUS-Tek is the best manufacturer of 3d-Cards, MOBO's, etc ASUS rules!! (but they dont have an 6800GT )
