There is a hairline scratch on the screen from normal usage but it's unnoticeable unless you shine it under white light when the screen is off. It is gorilla glass after all. Otherwise, battery life is about 20 hours or so. I usually keep my electronics in good condition. I'm going to be including 2 screen protectors with it.
