Revisiting an old addiction

I feel that way too. I Just want to complete my near silent Water cooling case build. Heck that 980x is still a heavy hitter to say the least. Maybe its time for a 1366 And older competition. Pre - 2012 system Challenge.

Dude, When I get my Other case Fabricated and built I need to get My old 950 out and have a hay-day. Its been to long sense I had to deal with the Greatness. :D That is the I7-950

Lets see some scores there Mercurydoun

Here is a couple I got from early in the overclock. These were at 4GHz and 800/1600/1900. I was still overclocking my processor at this point and I was using a nice stable speed on my video cards and pushing my cpu and memory. I overclocked my video cards using heaven, and then I didn't have time to test 3dMark again. But I at least have these scores available to me at work. I can posts some more scores when I get back home in a day or two.

Well sense you posted scores I must reply. Left my 480's X3 at the 825-1650-1950 Stable OC I Have been gaming on and set the Processor to its stock speed. I think I may need to put it to the 1.30Ghz OC that I had it on before hand and Try again but that is for another night. That Fire strike is Murder on the system... Dang demo Brings it to its Knees. But, its nice to know its stable for Punishment.

I've been on a modding spree but haven't actually OC'd or benchmarked in ages.

Been through a new case, three different cooling setups for my CPU, two different coolers for my GPUs, added a second GPU, and swapped my radiators all since the last time I've tried to push any hardware. Don't even remember what my chip can do anymore since the last time I had it apart I lost my OC settings so just threw a quick and dirty 4.2ghz at it...I think it was @ 4.7ghz lol.

I can understand that roadrunner. I have a back up system so frying the one im benching would hurt really badly wont be the end.

Puck i lost my oc settings for 4.70 ghz somewhere. But i think there is a screenshot in the 1155 2011 oc competition thread.

Just max it out ivy. Lets see it sing

Workin' on it, got bitchy at 1100mhz but 1050mhz seems good, I'm upping Memory now. 1500mhz was bitchy, so now I'm at 1450

Seems pretty stable at 1050/1450 but I'll try it for the rest of the night and then tomorrow I'll try bumpin each up 20mhz.

Then again, I haven't touched voltage yet so I guess I could do that after I find the farthest I can go with stock voltage.

How have you not touched the voltage yet?!?! I've never waited more than like a week to fiddle with the voltage, normally it's like 2 hours after installing it I'm pushing the voltage a lot higher than I should be... Lol
