l1il Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I think my i7 980 will fare a bit more time, even if Gulftown is getting old. The one I might replace is the Llan0 A8-3850, but I am not in a hurry. It still does everything I want from a HTPC, but if Kaveri is blowing the A10-6800K, I might not resist. I wonder if they will keep DDR3 tho... After using a AMD 8350 for a month, I don't see the point in AMD unless it's a APU or you simply do not have the cash. Fragsman Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Haven't AMD said they were off from the competition against Intel?The fact that Intel took over the market is bad for customers (us) but I think most of people will prefer the best and so far AMD admited Intel was better.. =/ I have an AMD for laptop only because I don't need much processing power.
