What's limiting you to a single-slot card? Case? Mobo? Other cards? Maybe we can find you a good deal on a combo of parts that'll make a dual-slot card possible.

Dell E521. Never did find a good 1gb card that will work in this thing and the eVga 8800GT I have in it atm is starting to fail. Already got the GPU clocked down to 500mhz and it still occasionally locks up for a few seconds at a time, it won't even run 600mhz without constant crashing in games anymore.

It's a dell E521 with an Antec EA380 so it still has the stock E521 board which because of the heatsink shroud can only accomodate single-slot GPU's. Also, I cannot afford to do more than the GPU for her atm because I am getting ready to move so I'm only looking for a GPU.

You sure the 4850 will work with EA380w, I had a couple hooked up to Corsair CX430w and it would not power them, thought they were bad.

I do have a single slot 4850 512mb (one that looks like a foot, lol)
