  1. That's funny. My Droid can switch between Desktop view and Mobile view whenever I please.
  2. This is not racist at all. I would have done the same thing if a black person came at me like that. We'll be hearing about this forever once those two morons Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson get involved.
  3. This is different from QAM channels. If you were to hook up an antenna you would receive a small amount of digital channels for free and some are even in HD. A QAM tuner in your TV will display the same channels. At least it does in my area. Comcast cannot block those channels. If they do the FCC will be all over their asses.
  4. The QAM channels have not dissappeared, they just moved the channels around. From what I understand, the FCC mandates that they broadcast these channels un-encrypted and they cannot be blocked. Try hooking up some bunny ears and see if you can get them that way. Don't call Comcast about it either because they will swear that the QAM channels don't exist. They want people to think you can't watch TV at all unless you buy one of their boxes. Comcast sucks, but its all I have available in my area. I have a digital box in the living room but I just watch the free QAM channels in the bedroom.
  5. Agreed. Even Microsoft is smart enough to put firmware updates on 360 discs for users with no internet connection. You all that say no big deal, just wait until they release these new discs they have been talking about that have 150GB capacity. These discs will not work in any current player (PS3 included) because the current laser diodes cannot support them. Then you all will be complaining that you can't watch the new movies.
  6. Blu-Ray is a failure. They need to finalize the damn format before they start selling it to the public. The problem people have is when movies come out and they have some new encryption standard which causes it to be incompatible. Its ridiculous.
  7. Don't feel too bad. The other day my GF asked me if New Jersey was a state. Right after she said that she knew she had said something extremely stupid and told me to keep my mouth shut.
  8. It works sometimes. It has limited amount of installs though. The installation messed up on my computer when I first got it so I installed it on my gf's computer. Then after I reformatted my computer I tried to install it again and it said I reached my limit. So I had to call Microsoft and talk to them for 2 hours just to get another activation. Have fun with all the cheaters online too. Its hard to find a game without at least one.

    TV!

Samsung has had some good prices lately on their 32" models. I saw a couple for $499 at BestBuy the other day.
  10. I haven't heard anything good about DFI in a few years. Personally, I have never had any problems with any ASUS board. That is why I continue to buy their products. I still have quite a few working P4 boards from ASUS including the old 850E that used RAMBUS. If you have no problems with them then buy them. It's all a matter of preference.
  11. If you are going for something as small as a 32" I would not bother getting a 1080p set. You will save a lot of money going 720p and the TV will be too small to notice any difference. I recently bought my second Samsung HDTV and I couldn't be happier. I had one minor problem with the first one which was a 720p CRT set and Samsung sent a repair shop out to pick up the TV. They replaced the tube and I had it back within a week. My new 46" LCD has had no problems at all.

    Halo 3: ODST

Firefight is repetitive but fun. Trying to get the 200,000 point achievement took me 2 1/2 hours on one level. Of course I was playing by myself though. Just hopped in a ghost and continued to splatter enemies.
  13. Ok so I own both. I've had an iPod Touch for about 6 months and I just bought my Zune HD this week. The app store is the only thing that the iPod has over the Zune. The Zune's interface is awesome and the display is amazing. The browser on the Zune is pretty pathetic but I'm hoping they will fix that in a firmware upgrade. Other than that, I'm much more satisfied with my Zune. iTunes is horrible unless you are using it on a Mac. If your on a PC, get ready for some headaches. Also, the one good thing about not letting 3rd parties develop apps for your device is that it stops there from being 1,000 fart apps.
