  1. Hello again. It's been about 3 weeks since I receive my headset, and here is my opinion. Pro's -Lightweight. -Sturdy -Better sound than the old 377 -Cable feels durable (but very rigid) -Price -Easy access to the volume wheel / mic on-off Cons -Smaller ear cups than 377. Not as comfortable as the old ones. -Very rigid cable Not sure to recommend it to other people. Maybe the Orion would be a better buy, but now is too late to change my mind.
  2. I make my choice. The winner is the Gamecom 380. After testing the Zalman mic, found that something must be wrong. It doesn't work good. Between 380 and Orion, the price was the main cause to choose one over the other. 380 is half the price, and I don't think the orion will be twice good. I'm quite happy with my current 677 (except the broken plastic). Let's see if the new ones are at least this good. Thank you so much for the advices. Next week will tell you my first impression.
  3. After being thinking deeply in the headset, reduced the option to two. Plantronics Gamecom 380--------------25
  4. I read your review of the orion and everything looks good. Al this moment, they are my first option. Also checked out the sennheiser and the akg, but they are over my budget (80$ usd). I'm on the mobile phone so i can't make a deep research, but the audio technica look so good. Any other options in my price range?
  5. thank you for such a nice answer bp9801. i'll check with more detail the Orion and also the other headphones to use the zalman mic. I will post here when I make a choice.
  6. Hello. I want a new headset mainly for gaming, and some music or movies. Mic is just for TeamSpeak. Now I have a Plantronics Gamecom 377, and they are very comfortable, but a plastic piece is starting to break. My budget is 60
  7. The Corsair TX650 will stay in my pc. Here there is no problem. I hope the LC Power can support the new parts. If not, that would be a little problem, and my friend would need to get a few extra $$ or select cheaper components. How many does cost a decent cheap PSU? 40-50$?
  8. My budget is 200$ / 160 € for processor and ram. I don't want to change too many parts, because the ones i'm going to give to my friend are for free. So if I give him too many parts, I don't have cash to buy a full new pc for me. Thats why we think about this mix. I give him a pair of parts and he buy another pair to make a better pc than he have now. Also I will buy another pair to improve my pc. My friend budget is arroun 150 - 200€ (190-250$).
  9. Budget is arround 200$ - 250$. for my friend pc (motherboard, PSU and Graphic card) The less, the best. Let me explain the whole history. My PC: PhenomII x3 720 Cooler Master V8 2x2gb DDR3 1333 Nvidia GTX 460 1GB Corsair TX650 Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P Friend's PC: Athlon 64 x2 4200+ Themaltake Blue Orb 1x2gb DDR2 800 ATI 2600 HD (dead) LC Power 550W Asus M4A78-EM The idea is to mix some parts of My PC (processor and ram) with some new parts (motherboard, graphic card and PSU) to make a new Friend's PC. For My PC I was thinking to buy a Phenom II 965BE and 2x4gb ddr3 1600 G.Skill Ares. Is this a good change? Maybe, I can give him my GTX460 1gb and buy a new graphic card for My PC (new My PC with 965 and 8gb ddr3 1600) Budget for my new pc arround 200$ / 160€ (processor and ram) I hope you can understand the idea. What do you think about the plan? Online Shops: http://www.pccomponentes.com/componentes.html http://www.alternate.com/
  10. Hello. This is my first post here. English is not my native language, so I apologize if I can't explain well. I have an AMD Phenom II x3 720BE and 2x2GB G.Skill PI DDR3 1333 modules. I want to buy a motherboard, graphic card and PSU compatibles with them. The use of the resulting PC is light gaming, light photo edition and multimedia (movies / music / downloads ...). No Overclock intention. What do you recommend?
