  1. I've had a couple of bad experiences with FedEx. One was completely losing a package on its way to me and the other time they dropped off my package at the wrong house.
  2. OC the cards and got 3k more points 3DMark Vantage - P34515 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=604039 Intel 965 Asus Rampage II Extreme Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600 EVGA GTX 280 Tri-SLI

  4. Try this out - http://www.antec.outervision.com/
  5. All the 6xx and 7xx series nvidia motherboards I've used include the SLI bridges. I've had a couple of 8xxx series videocards and they did not include the bridge. Neither did the GTX 280s. But the ATI CrossFire videocards like the 4870X2 comes with a CrossFire bridge while the CrossFire ready motherboards do not include the bridge.
  6. I've got the GTZ with the 1366 mount and its very nice. Installation is very easy. I'm also waiting on the Fuzion mount though.
  7. In order to use the Mempipe feature of the board, you need to use bare (no heatspreader) memory modules.
  8. One big scam. I got fooled on this one but never again.
  9. There was some hype that Newegg would have 300GB Velociraptors for $119 today but it ended up being false.

  11. I would suggest checking out some liquid cooling build logs on various forums. They can be a good source of the type of information you are looking for and will also give you an idea of how others have set up their loops. Making the jump to liquid cooling can be scary at first and the initial cost to get started is not cheap. But the good part is that you should be able to use the same pump/res/rad for years to come while only having to change out the cpu blocks mounting bracket when new socket types come out. GPU blocks usually need to be updated when you upgrade videocards though. Watercooling loops can be tedious to set up and maintain but that all really depends on what you consider a pain. I enjoy tinkering with my system but if you want easy and simple, stay with air. My point is that nobody can really answer your last question for you. The time and money spent on liquid cooling is worth it for some but not all users.
  12. Nice article, Alan! It's awesome that you were able to go to Texas and check out AMD's upcoming chips. Nice to see the air cooled chip hit 4GHz. Maybe with watercooling, we'll be able to hit 4.5GHz or so.
