  1. It is a real Cisco Phone, its a 7942. I am running it with the SIP firmware installed, and it connects to a TFTP server which has the config files. My call provider is sipgate.
  2. I have recently moved everything around since rebuilding my system, as I needed more space for the monitors.
  3. Hi I am looking to get a UPS for my PC, to prevent damage in case of a power cut/serge. I was looking at getting one of these http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR900GI&total_watts=200. I need to check if this will be good enough to keep my PC running enough with one monitor so that i can shut it down (PC details are in my signature). Thanks
  4. Best corsair product I have ever owned is the Corsair 650W TX power supply. It’s silent and very reliable, in fact I have used it in other builds for clients and they have never had problems either.
  5. Try this, its what we do at work and it works all of the time. Boot the PC into safemode using f8 before startup. install malware bytes while in safemode. Ignore option to update. Run a full scan. Wait for it to complete, and then remove the malware. Reboot the PC and all will be fine.
  6. was looking at it and it looks like ebuyer made a typo, if actually runs at 1.9, but will it still struggle Edit: Actually looking into it would this be a heck of a lot better http://www.ebuyer.com/275875-lenovo-thinkpad-e525-laptop-nz62juk ?
  7. After looking at the laptop, I may have found an alternative http://www.ebuyer.com/275878-lenovo-thinkpad-edge-e525-laptop-nz62guk. Spec wise is it about the same and would it work for 3d gaming
  8. Hi I haven’t been on the forums for a while, but I am finally looking to upgrade my old Toshiba laptop as the panel and battery are both on their way out. I have been looking at budget laptops (around £400). However I cannot decide upon which one would suit my needs. I need something at will allow me to run 3d applications such as left for dead in medium/slow settings. Also I need it to be a laptop that I can easily purchase in the U.K. Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks
  9. Hi, I am looking to swap my 17" LCD monitor with a larger one that has a rotating stand for portrait mode. I do have a Dell one setup on my desk at work, but can’t seem to find many of these around on the internet, apart from Dell ones. I was wondering if there were any other manufacters that produced monitors on these kind of stands
  10. The Asus 24" VH242H is a good bet, i have had the 22" model for a while now with no issues. I know for a fact it has holes for mounts at the back of it.
  11. Managed to find the 5770 for Just out of my budget at £115, which is affordable, but i also found the 5850 for £180 so am tempted to wait a few weeks and pay the extra cash
  12. I have finally decided to upgrade my HD3850 card as i am no longer able to max games out since getting my 1080P Asus monitor. I am looking to spend about a £100 upgrading it, and I am flexible on my budget. Preferable i would like another ati card and it must be near silent at idle like the 3850, but im not to bothered if it gets noisy under heavy load.
  13. sorry to bump this, but im still totaly stuck.
  14. Hi, I have finally gotten around to getting myself a decent heatsink (artic 7 freezer pro) for my signature rig and am now looking to OC it. Ideally i want to get it to just over 3ghz once oc'd (to put it inline with the q9650). The only i problem i have is that i have never OC'd my system before, so have no idea what settings I need to enter for the ram, ideally I would prefer for it to be kept at stock speeds.
