  1. I have been busy lately and have not even got to mess with my system however the wife got me 8 more gigs of Muskin RAM and another Monitor so I feel like I am setting on a sweet rig right now. I am hoping to beable and download that program and finally get some bench moarks on here like I promised.
  2. I just got two of them and for a good price on new egg hope you seen my review so you could get it at the same price I did. I think you will be happy with it I am so far (even if it is just 1 day). Are you going to do any benchmarks because I would like to compare them against my Duel and maybe it will help you later on to decide if it is worth getting another later on.
  3. Ok so first I need to thank Boinker for giving me a SLI bridge because with out it I would have had to wait to get my duel GTX560's running and thanks for the 200mm fan. Now with that out of the way I have had only time to run a OCCT test and though I am not a expert at this here is what it said for a 1 hour run it max temp was 80c and it ran at 199 FPS that seems a little hot to me when the max for the cards are 99c just a little to close for my taste. but like I said I am not a expert so I was hoping to get your take on that I will try to run more test this evening when I get home. O if I was going to switch to water cooling wouldn't I need a new case not to mention the cost of buying all of the stuff? Not to mention you would almost have to hold my hand doing it since I have never done a water cooling system. I think you would get tired of me pretty fast (I know I would)

  5. I bought it on Newegg two days ago it is being delievered today.
  6. I am glad I am getting such good input and thanks for all the info. I personally after my experiance with BFG would rather go with a company that has good Customer service and pay a little more for it the card also does have a lifetime warrenty on it so I don't have to worry about time, I know the cards wont last a lifetime but it does give me ease of mind knowing I don't have to worry so much. I did a lot of research on the GTX 560 and I really didn't find any that was a lot cheaper than EVGA's prices. So arguing over prices are really kinda pointless. I will end up paying after rebates 225 dollars each so I don't think I got a bad deal at all. Knowing for sure that the power supply will work with both cards is a great relief (not sure I could talk the wife into a noew power supply). I do feel confident with this purchase and can't wait to put them in my system tonight. Now does anyone have any good Benchmark tools that are free? Or if you can just direct me to the websites that would work. I honestly appreciatte all the input I have gotton. P.S., my spelling is bad I know but I think you get what I am saying.
  7. Yes I did talk to a BFG rep and yea they was no help said my warrenty wasn't covered. and I bought EVGA because I have been told and my research kinda said same thing that they have really good customer service and after dealing with BFG I decided I wanted good CE. My friend Bonikers (OCC name) referred them to me. Why what you hear about EVGA? O funny thing is they never mentioned they was out of business just told me my Card wasn't covered for this or that.
  8. I do love the list you have here I myself just bought 2 of the GTX 560 and will be running benchmarks on them. I will post in the Video card area (already have post started) as soon as I get it done I am running a 850W power supply and so far from what research I have done it should be enough but will also keep you posted on that on my post. I do know that you will need plenty of Air flow with your system I am using a HAF 922 and it is a little loud but perfect air flow and I am running 6 fans counting the 2 on the CPU heatsink. but I think once you get this done you will have a great gaming rig.
  9. I know I was getting a little hot with my system when I first got it and Boniker gave me his old heatsink (way better than stock) and it dropped my temp by almost 10 degrees. I was having problems with the Video card overheating and I put in two more fans on the side and it dropped my CPU tem another 5 degrees and all of this was tested under stress so later on you might try something like that if its getting hot the HAF's are great and will always buy them.
  10. Wow thanks for the article great read for someone that is looking at exactly that. So far it does look like I can use that power supply but will know more once I put it to the test. I will post the benchmark here too when I get them done.
  11. Well after much research I have decided to buy 2 EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card My old GTX 285 made by BFG kept over heating on me and they said it wasn't anything they could do for me. Even though the warrenty should have covered it. My future brother in law said to try a EVGA so I am. I just hope my 850 power supply can handle both of them. My question though does anyone know anything about SLI with these I have not found much on anyone having two of these cards at once. Even if you can point me to something that would be cool. When I get them installed I will take picks and post them on here if anyone is interested.

I tried to play the free java based one and didn't get it is there more to it then creating blocks and destroying blocks? I saw people talking about hording supplies but didn't see where they got them or how.
  13. My Son got me playing Fallen Earth so far I am only a lvl 17 using pistols. My wife bought me a lifetime subscription to Star Trek online but have not been on in over a month. I have also been hitting the Civ V online lately to..
  14. I am lucky to get to spend the amount I do but so far for me it looks like the MX518 will be my choice though some of the Razors look good. Thanks for all the advise by the way.
