Waco Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 IIRC X-Plane 9 is the largest. It'll eat up well over 60 GB of HDD space if you install the whole world.
Savan Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 depending on the number of mods you use, Oblivion can get pretty big. My install is currently 9.3 Gigs

ClayMeow Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Dragon Age: Origins will probably beat that, though we won't know just yet. System requirements are listed at 20GB. However, that may take into account the toolset. I'm sure, when it's released, Star Wars: The Old Republic will break the hard drive record for a game though....MMO with FULL VOICEOVERS and multiple dialog trees (and each class has it's own unique storyline)? Um, yeah. Finally a real use for the 1TB drives other than pr0n
greengiant912 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 My wow folder at one point was at 23gigs. Tons of screenshots, addons, and patches yeah... But I quit wow recently... Yeah I know :-\

Silverfox Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I remember installing Oregon Trail from a floppy disk Brutal. As was Windows 95 on a stack of Floppies ... absolutely awful way of installing the OS, but far cheaper than a CD-ROM drive at the time!
