Black64 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Interesting, never heard of this before. Sounds more like a sales gimmick to me though. I'd prefer it more though if I bought a GPU of my choice and get a game of my choice.
VaporX Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 The Never Settle campaign from AMD has been very successful and nVidia wanted an angle that did not look like they where copying AMD, hence the F2P move. Wish they would go the recent route AMD went however and let you choose. Would be cool if you could use the $75 in any F2P game from a range and maybe put all into one game. WhenKittensATK Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) Let's just say I abused to hell out of the first GeForce Free2Play. World of Tanks: ~650 gold per dollar from Nvidia, gold sellers on ebay offer ~540 gold per dollar, and Wargaming offers 200 gold per dollar. Too bad they limited it to 5 per account. I sold off all the Planetside 2 codes for half the price I paid for all 3 games. Discarded all Hawken codes, since no one wants them. These deals are a lot better if you actually play any of these F2P games and if their premium currency is worth anything in it.
