slick2500 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) Idk after Crytek strait up lying about how they were making a separate pc version of Crysis 2 that was going to be using DX11, then to have the game come out as a strait up console port with DX10, I have lost all respect for them as a company. To lie to the PC comunity like they did and not even apologize for doing it. Crytek needs to earn its respect back in my book. DanTheGamer11 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks BP for that, It's a lot nicer and better optimized now, Can't wait to see what they will achieve with the Crags 3 version... They achieved a great feat with Crysis on consoles and the smarter more efficient engine alongside the advantages of big buildings, Crysis 3 should pretty well be a near full if nor full sandbox game, you'd need it if we're to be the 'Hunters'. Fragsman Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I'll have to play Crysis 2. I liked Crysis 1 very much because of the jungle. I'm not sure if I would like Crysis in the city. It would loose much of it beauty. But I saw the new engine video and is amazing. They just keep adding and adding pixels and higher textures as well as other technologies. Graphics were sadly disappointing compared to the first. Setting: New York city was not the prettiest landscape to use for the game. Storyline seemed like it was written by a hippie stoner desperately trying not to relapse. Characters: WTF happened to looking up to prophet? Laughing at psycho being a.. psycho?
