bp9801 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Fans are an essential part to any computer system, and ccokeman has a new one from Noctua on the test bench. See how it performs as OCC reviews the Noctua NF-F12 PWM - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/noctua_nf_f12_pwm/
El_Capitan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Yay, a Noctua fan review! I'll stick with the Noctua NF-P12's, though.

El_Capitan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 The typical noctua fans still in their ugly colors... At least they're not blue...
VaporX Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 You know Cap normally I would agree about the blue but I have come to realize it depends on the case. For example a white case with some black trim looks SWEET with blue lighting, you get the cool winter vibe. Now a black case, I mean pure black to me looks best with deep reds, not orange but the really deep maroon style red lighting, though Doug has made a solid case for a green scheme as well. Okay sorry trolly completely off the tracks, I will agree with Panda that Noctua fans are ugly but they work great.

Blue fans are pretty kickass, especially if you get the rest of your color scheme in sync.

Black64 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 A 25 dollar fan!?!!? no way!
Waco Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I can't bring myself to spend more than $10 on a fan let alone $25. I can't imagine how much some people spend on fans when they have multiple radiators. Yate Loon 5 packs please!
El_Capitan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Sometimes you can get orders in bulk cheaper. That's why I have so many Noctua NF-P12 fans. Normally around $22 - $25, you can get them as cheap as $14 a piece once you find a deal.
Waco Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Are they $10 better than my $4 Yates?
