  1. One of the reasons i heard why they never continued was they were not able to get there motherboards out in to market in a timely fashion. So people would upgrade to an ASUS etc. and didn't want to wait for the DFI's to come out. Yes there are some that would wait but some is not enough. That is what i heard, could be wrong.
  2. Corsair 800D I love this case! So big and roomy even with SLI'ed 460's and i am sure i could SLI 580's no problem. Quite even with all my fans in there and fantastic cable management.
  3. I would have to say for me: FF7 Hands down best story line ever (for me) FF8 Was not quite as good but still very enjoyable Dead Space 1 loved it played it through a couple of times Mass Effect Series fantastic as well
  4. I would go with the Razer Morays they are around 50 bucks or less on sale. And i use them for music at work as well in my front pocket and no problems with the cable. And as a bonus i put them through the wash and the dryer and they still work fine sound great to .
  5. There are better non conductive thermal pastes out there now. MX-3 for one.
  6. Well if you drop your ambient temp by 10 degrees then you should see a difference in temps for sure. I would say that yes you have a temperature reporting problem. Have you updated your bios? That might help.
  7. As far as i know you cant do triple sli with the 460's, in fact i am 99% sure you cant. I personally think go for it and see what happens....the worst thing would be you take one out and just sell it.
  8. I would go with the SSD for sure.....maybe even a revo drive!
  9. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2007/07/25/overclocking_intel_core_2_quad_q6600/2 Theres another site that has some helpful tips on your processor.
  10. This thread may have some helpful pointers.....not the same chip but close anyways. http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=179466
  11. Might want to give full specs of your computer........just so we know what is going on. Ram / amount for one. I would suggest lowering your divider for your ram to really low, meaning run it lower then its rated speed to take it out of the equation so it is not impeding your progress. Then see if it is stable. If it is then start slowly start increasing your fsb until your unstable.....if your temps are still not bad then you can put a little extra voltage to see if that helps. These are very general instructions until we know what you are running. BTW not to be discouraging but i was not able to get my q6600 stable past 3.2ghz. But give it a shot and see what happens.
  12. First things first what are your temps under load and what are you using for cooling?
  13. I would definitely try this suggestion first.
