DnaAngel Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Really depends on how you plan to use it. If you are on a single 1080 monitor and that is what you plan to use for gaming then anything past the 660Ti or the 7950 is a bit of a waste. I would have to agree, my secondary PC behind me is an i5 3570k with the Asus DirectCU II GtX 660Ti on a 27inch ASUS 1080p monitor. It averages between 100-115FPS on games like WoW, SWTOR, GTAIV. Crysis 2 with DX11/Highres packs installed it gets a smooth 70-80 FPS on ultra. Was going to throw a GTX 670 on that rig, now im glad I didnt as there's no point as its only a single monitor and non SLi
DnaAngel Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) Here you go http://www.amazon.com/MSI-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-N670-2GD5/dp/B008BGXYAS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1361297692&sr=8-6&keywords=gtx+670 or if you want http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-DisplayPort-Graphics-02G-P4-2680-KR/dp/B007KC1R3A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361297755&sr=8-1&keywords=gtx+680 Can't go wrong with either one, personally I would go with the 680 if I wanted a single gpu solution but I would get the 670 if I wanted SLI, both are great cards. honestly instead of getting 1 single GTX 680, your better off getting 2 GTX 660's ( non TI version) same exact price for both ( Sometimes cheaper depending on sales and give-a-ways ect) as opposed to a single 680 and you get about 30% or more performance across the board with them in Sli compared to a single 680. As shown in multiple comparisons and benchmarks. Little Example: 2 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121660 compared to one of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121665 obviously I used ASUS as a brand, but same goes for all Nvidia vendors Edited February 22, 2013 by DnaAngel
