  1. forget that he already bought it, what is the set up with the radiators, etc. like, where is teh flow of water going? with two radiators you should be gettin better temps than that, where are they located and where is the air flow through them? this may help us help you
  2. the 5900se comes with 2.8ns memory, so with the given equation i should be able to get 357Mhz right? total clock of 814+ with adequet cooling, not bad for a 185 buck card eh?
  3. I was wondering (i saw this on the forums not too long ago but couldnt find it in a recent search) how far you can push ram. Im talking about video cards more specifically, but i read that depending on the ns, you can only push them that far. i eblieve it was something like, 3.2ns memory can go 320Mhz, maybe further but mostly just 320, i was jsut wondering cuz i was thinkin about buying a new card and jsut wanted to know where i could take it stock. thanks! (btw the card is the 5900se, at 185 bucks its not a bad deal for a 5900gpu, only it uses lower quality ram that runs at 700mhz stock )
  4. yea ive seen the toms review, its not bad but the one i posted is better (i think) anyways, supposedly this thing benches right with the best ati and nvidia cards, and the best one is supposed to open at 400 bucks. im sure they'll have some bugs and all but its nice to see competitors other than ati and nvidia. Also, other companies are looking into making XGI cards as well, i think gigabyte and msi are the ones listed (not sure, dont take my word for it!)
  5. what is the state of these cards? have they been oc'd or used? i am interested in the pci one, i've pm'd you but i just thought id post anyways. post some pics?
  6. http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=908 check it out, many of you have probally heard of this, dual gpu graphix card. I was just wondering how you think it would do entering the market. and please, dont give ati/nvidia biased opinions, stick to stats <_< thanks guys! (and gals ) http://www.xgitech.com/products/products_2...B-1999B42A3DEF} <---- a link to the stats page
  7. first of all thanks for the quick responses and why not?
  8. lol maybe i should try... jk what about the nvidia 5900xt? good price and good card, plus i feel drawn to nvidia for some reason what i need is a good dx9 card that will run hl2 <_<
  9. if youve taken off the side panel you probally already voided your warranty, if so, happy modding
  10. "never" was not an option, because it is physically impossible. Your body would do it for you if you don't "do it yourself" actually im an insomniac my longest record for not sleeping is about three weeks, til they drugged me up til i passed out
  11. first of all, thanks for lookin that up. i guess mine would be the 64mb one with vga and tv/vcr out, so i could power a tv and a monitor with it. what my goal was was to change the tv out (svideo) to a vga output, that was i could use it with the other monitor that i have lying around. imma be sad if i cant get my multi monitor maybe i should get that new geforce xt card coming out?
  12. btw i ended my argument, why are you trying to defend smoking? its a pointless battle. ps. dont get into the other topics as i dont do those things mentioned above
