96andrei Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 hey does anyone know how to install drivers for Linux , mainly Ubuntu . I never could do it becuse it required command line knowledge so I also used the ones pre installed. that would be an awesome addition to the guide I think . After a quick search I found a software called Jockey that will do the job for Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jockey http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html
EuroFight Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I'll see if I can write something for AMD drivers for Windows and Ubuntu
96andrei Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) I'll install Ubuntu on an old partition and I will try to update the guide. Edit: I managed to install latest NVIDIA drivers from their website on Ubuntu(using command lines) but the virtual terminals (CTRL+ALT+F1, F2 etc.) aren't working now. I have very little experience with Ubuntu so I won't update the guide until I figure out what went wrong.
