  1. I would say Dawn of War... I'm surprised nobody has even mentioned it.
  2. I've seen mods where they mount an double 120mm rad where that bottom screen is. You could set it up to were the rad fans suck the air into the case through the rad, and have that back fan and a possible top blow hole take the air out of the case. Just a suggestion i've seen.
  3. If you have adequate cooling, and your temps are a good ways below 50*C, you can up the voltage to your CPU (vcore). I'm sure you know where it is in the BIOS, so go in there and up the vcore in the smallest amount possible until your compy boots into windows and doesn't crash. Then stress test (if you get into windows) EVERYTIME you make a single vcore increase. Keep an eye on your temps. If that doesn't work, try running a divider on your memory.
  4. Not only is there an epoxy coating over the two points (though, from what I've read it is easily removed), I've read that nVidia's newest chipset drivers prevent the mod completely. However, I'm still going to try it over break anyways :-)
  5. Okay, I want good overclocking RAM for around $150. I will go TCCD over BH because I'm affraid the BH would run too hot in my case. Any recommendations are welcome! If you recommend OCZ or Corsair, and they are TCCD, how can I tell. What speed of RAM should be looking for? I want to run 1:1 on good timings, but I will go with a divider if I have to, just not the one I'm at right now (see sig).
  6. Geil ONE it is! Now I just need to wait for Christmas to come around... hopefully they are not sold out everywhere by then. Are there any other kinds people you guys would recommend? Well, the Geil ONE TCCD no longer shows up on newegg. ZZF only sells the BH version. Is there ANY RAM anyone recommends for under 200? I'd like to hit DDR600... would I be better off just buying DDR600 RAM?
  7. Thanks for the replies guys! I'm leaning towards the Geil myself. And about the Balistix and BH5, I have good cooling in my case and a great mobo, so hitting 3.3v to get a good OC is very doable.
  8. Hey everyone! I don't think I've ever posted a question like this on here before. You know, the "help me choose stuff". Well, that time has come. I need help choosing some memory. If you read my sig, you'll see that my first computer is using a divider on the memory. This is because my patriot pc-3200 will not go past 225 Mhz (I've even tried with loose timings, and a 2T command rate). So, I want TCCD RAM, under $200, probably pc03200. I have been doing some of my own research. Some of these links are not to TCCD RAM, well, it wasn't stated in the description anyways: G.Skill OCZ Crucial Geil Thanks guys for any help, and if you have a type of RAM to recommend, could you post a link to it? Thanks
  9. "But, Why not just go forton?" Ste: Didn't you say in another of Kb's topics that Fortron was bad? If you're going to say that a product is not good, be consistant. Kb: The power supply looks good and all, but I'd rather go with the fortron. By the way, glad to see you're posting again :-)
  10. Before I state what I want to state (a really short fact), I am a Christian, I was not raised in a Christian home, I chose God in College. I live with Christians who are exactly that. According to the bible, you will go to hell if you do not accept Jesus Christ. However, judgement, life and death are God's alone. Who the crap are we (even us Christians) to judge!?!?! It was through God's grace that we were saved, he did not judge us, yet we are all sinful. Who are we to judge anyone else? If you're a Christian, don't hide it because there are many "Christians" giving us a bad name. Instead, be a better example. "That is what you believe. I however believe that humans are fallible. God COMMANDED us to obey the 10 commandments, hence the name. But we don't follow those. Seeing as humans wrote the Bible, we could have very well messed it up." You're right, humans are fallibile, and that is why God gave us a choice between His merci and following His son, or death. Also, about the bible being written by humans: did you know that the bible was written and translated by scribes who most likely would've been KILLED if they mess one little word up? Did you ever think about that? Not only that, but the first time the bible was translated from ancient texts, there were, I think, seven scribes, all placed in different rooms, and they all came up with the EXACT same translation. Now, tell me the bible is wrong because it was written by humans... go ahead.
  11. isn't there a PowerColor X800GT coming out with on of those attached. I read a review on it, and it seemed to cool as well as an Arctic Silencer, but much louder.
  12. Actually, I have an x-connect in my athlonXP rig. I unplugged the fans from the fan controller on the inside, cut off the connectors, and then soldered the wires to the 12v rail strip the plugs draw there power from. Voltages went from fluctuating a lot to rock solid stable, under load, at 2.4 ghz (overclocked 2500+). It is a decent PSU, just takes some modding to get it to work at it's full strength. And, I don't know about you guys, but I think modding is fun!
