dling Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 What do you guys know about Zotec vga cards ? I found a gtx 980 for 549.00 but have never owned zotec. I'm a BIG evga fan and have used them for years. Just a bit nervous about spending this kind of money on a brand I'm not sure of . IVIYTH0S Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I haven't heard anything bad about Zotac but haven't personally had the pleasure. Their AMP series cards were/are pretty popular and I remember for a time they were offering lifetime warranties so they must be pretty confident in their products. Go for it! El_Capitan Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 When I had gone through 8 GTX 580's, the highest overclocking one was a Zotac Amp!, which I still have. Beat out ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and EVGA cards. They do a great job on their cards.
WarWeeny Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Zotac is a fine company for VGA cards, their quality is quite good and as EL_Capitan said, they overclock very well.
dling Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Thanks for the input. I just completed the order. Hope to get the card buy next week. I'm currently playing BF4 "all highest setting " single player and it's killing my 580's. The game is very choppy. Man I just spent 560.00 bucks to play a game that I was bragging about just a few days ago about getting it on sale.
ccokeman Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Zotac usually pushes the limits and bins their silicon a little higher than some.

SpikeSoprano Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Don't worry about Zotac cards , I've been abusing my 660 for over a year and not one problem from it, they are just as good or better than anything else out there.
