Stryker3006 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Hi all, Was wondering if anyone has dismantled this fan. I have 2 in push/pull config on cpu cooler. they are fantastic fans but very ugle. Want to dismantle and paint if this is possible. Have seen vid for dismantling p12. sticknstone Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I would approach this mod by using a small paint brush (1/8"), and leave it assembled. First with the paint brush try and see if all areas where paint will be applied can be brushed. If an area can not be painted I would attempt to incorporate it into the design unpainted, for example, if the center could not be painted I would paint the blades only, and use a color the match the center color. Fragsman Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 (edited) brown cooler but.. paint it??? o_O never heard of it... anyway one day i tried to tie a the CPU cooler to the motherboard with a wire (because it had 2/4 plastic "connectors" broken).. dunno wtf was going on in my head and then i bought a brand new..
