premiumgfx Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Great CPU!. If AMD sold them I wonder if they'd help combat the i7s... ^_^
The Smith Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Plus I'd be interested to see how far it could go on air only I did not see any significant increase on air. I noticed you said it's stock frequency was 2GHz, but in your CPU-Z screen shot it shows the HT at 2GHz and the CPU clock at 3.2GHz. Am I seeing it correctly? Well it defaults to 2GHz, but it's not really a stock frequency. In the screenshot I had it clocked at the 955's clocks to show that it ran with much lower voltages. IVIYTH0S Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I did not see any significant increase on air. Ah, that's all I needed to hear. Thanks I'm officially uninterested in the TWKR now
The Smith Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Ah, that's all I needed to hear. Thanks I'm officially uninterested in the TWKR now Man we said it. The TWKR is for extreme cooling benchmarking. If you want to overclock on air, just grab a retail CPU.
The Smith Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Just to let you know guys that CPU-z 1.52 will recognize the TWKR properly, and that BIOS updates will also replace the "AMD Processor Unknown" by the Phenom II 42 TWKR.
