Waco Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Doesn't look like the automotive version to me (wrong shape and no clips). I dunno. Without knowing where it came from I think we're stuck. It's definitely not mini-SCART, it is definitely digital, and I really don't think its any kind of HDMI. uneedav8 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 It would really help if you can provide a higher resolution photo though. I'll second that
bp9801 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Is it a standalone cable or did it come with a product? Micro-DVI, maybe? Never seen one with those corners though; typically it's flat across in the middle.
Braegnok Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) It looks sort of like an HDMI mini connector, but I'm having a hard time figuring out scale. If you can either measure the size or show it in the same pic side by side with something like a full size standard HDMI cable it might REALLY help identify it for certain. +1 on needing side by side with something for size,.. what type connector is on other end?,.. is it USB,.. could be a mini half pitch or mini DFP connector for digital camera to pc. uneedav8 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 The other end is the same, and I do not know what it came with.

Waco Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 The one on the left is a comparison for size...full size HDMI.
RHKCommander959 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 If that is a full size HDMI - the cable is definitely not Micro USB-B Now if my eyes don't deceive me I see 19 pins plus the grounded outer casing - same as HDMI and a few other connections (USB 3.0, DVI,...) My guess is it is some proprietary cable - looks like a display port casing with hdmi innards. Are there any markings at all on the cable? Good example of different digital connections: http://www.cablestogo.com/learning/connector-guides/digital-video
