  1. Well the kinds of devices we are thinking about using would be something like this. We don't want to mess around with any wiring really, just something that will wirelessly connect to our phones when we get into the vehicle.
  2. Hello there, I work for MFA Inc, and the company has instituted new cell phone policies. Our store is looking to invest in some bluetooth speakerphones for our pickups. I have a few things I want to clear up before deciding on a purchase. If anyone has any know how or has had experience with these devices please give some insight! 1. Memory. We have multiple different people driving these pickups at random times. We can't mess around with setting our phones up each and every time we get in the pickup. Will these devices be able to remember upwards of 6 or so different phones? So that we can just turn on our bluetooth, hop in the pickup, and have them work. 2. What is a good price range to ensure that the speakerphone we get is good quality? Thanks for your time!!
  3. Working on my friend's computer. Upon startup, Vista loading screen occurs then the loading bar locks up and you get the BSOD stating you should check for viruses, remove any newly installed hdds or hdd controllers, and check for corruption. I removed the HDD and checked it for errors, it is fine. WIth the hard drive still out, I booted the computer with a WIndows XP Setup CD. When the screen reaches "Starting Windows" after it loads all of the necessary setup files (at the beginning, right after you boot from the CD), it gives me the same exact BSOD. I have removed RAM and used known good stick. Removed video card and used IGP. That is about all of the minimizing I can do. Only thing left would be trying a different mobo or cpu which I do not have. Would it be safe to say there is a problem with the motherboard? Possibly the hard drive controller? I have dug through the BIOS, but being it is a Gateway there are not any options to mess with regarding controller. I am considering telling him he can purchase a new motherboard and see if that fixes the problem, as that is the only route I can see. However I would like to hear alternate opinions on the matter. Thank you.
  4. Well the A33 is a great buy if Price/Performance is important imo. Not quite as many lenses/accessories as Nikon or Canon but that's not a huge issue. I'm looking at getting the 35mm f1.8 Prime Lens for the basketball games and other general use. Haha go right ahead man. It's currently my background as well.
  5. I ended up going with the Sony A33 and I'm very happy with it! It's handles the poor indoor lighting at our high school's gym like a champ, and is great for landscapes. Here's some photos I've taken with it.. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1514657&l=2d1eb92be5&id=1629872372 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1500313&l=7026846119&id=1629872372 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1520775&l=de35043ac3&id=1629872372
  6. Bought a Sony a33 Digital-SLT camera from Amazon with a transcend 16GB class 10 sd card! Should be here sometime this week! http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10551&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666254681
  7. Hey guys it has been a little while since I've made a post, but I'm back and have a slight problem I need help with. I have been wanting to get a dslr for a while now.i have been eyeing the Sony A33 Digital-SLT for a while now. It sits about $700 minus tax. It looks like a good camera but I hear lots of good things about Canon and Nikon offerings in the same range. Is the Sony a good buy or am I better off going with one of the other two brands? If you have any better choices for me I'm all ears! I'm looking to do just about everything with the camera, but mostly pics of my brothers sports events and nature photography. Thanks for your time!
  8. Samsung Mesmerize (Galaxy S) it's a beast of a phone especially coming from a Blackberry Curve 8330
  9. I would do the same. See what happens after a clean install. I have Zune open 24/7 on my laptop and I have no issues, even after sleep/hibernation cycles and it staying open it works fine. It starts up instantly with no slowdown holding my 12-13GB music library. Edit: It's been a while since I've posted.. and I notice that my signature has been nuked haha
  10. I have a 2000 Chevrolet S10 Pickup. It's very basic as far as features go. It's a 5 speed manual tranny with a 2.2L I4. It has 205K miles lol so it's definitely getting up there. I'm in desperate need of new u-joints and new plugs/wires. Just replaced the alternator (i blame high mileage and subwoofer.. lol) and the starter. Other than that it's running great, not burning a drop of oil. I have a JVC KD-HDR20 head unit powering my 4 speakers and a Rockford Fosgate P300-1 424Watt RMS 1200Watt Max Mono Amp powering an MTX Thunder Thin 65 12" 400Watt RMS subwoofer. It sounds pretty great and I hit 130dB at the shop that put it in. Here's some pics after a wash (and a 20mile HWY drive back home.. lol) These pics were taken with my phone so they aren't upmost quality lol http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00314.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00315.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00320.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00319.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00316.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00317.jpg&newest=1 http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/XxHellxRaizerxX/?action=view&current=IMG00318.jpg&newest=1
  11. Yea Engadget is where I found out about this as well. I believe the N1 is just not sold by Google now, but still sold internationally by HTC. I guess I can just wait for reviews of the screen hopefully, and see how it looks. I have a Zune HD with it's OLED screen and I absolutely love the quality of it. I hope the Super LCD lives up to the hype.
  12. So due to the AMOLED screen shortage US Cellular has delayed the launch of the HTC Desire. I am looking to move away from Sprint and to US Cellular because Sprint has no 3G coverage where I live (small out of the way town with a single US Cellular tower in the town). Now HTC is going to be putting their new "Super" LCD screens in the Desire which they claim are just as good as AMOLEDs. What are your thought on this? I personally don't see how an LCD can compare to an OLED except for the shortcomings of direct sunlight for the AMOLED.
