VaporX Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 If I understand what I am reading right, the Samsung, OCZ and Intel make their controllers in house now.
d6bmg Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 It is labeled as in-house but is it really re-branded? so many of the same controllers going around with different brands I just don't trust anyone anymore. also companies like nvidia have made me very skeptical No re-branding. Samsung produce controllers in-house.
IVIYTH0S Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I'd get the cheapest one with the capacity you're looking for, honestly you won't see a noticeable change in performance with a top of the line SSD and an "almost as good" SSD that saves you like $40 or more and gets you closer to that $0.50/GB sweet spot of great value. Compile a list of drives you're considering and their prices and that will better help us advise you!
