Coors Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Anyone know where I can get one? >.> Been meaning to get back around to this. Couple weeks ago I replaced my 5400 rpm hdd in my HP dv2 1030us laptop with a 7200 hdd I had laying around. I installed XP on it since I have no more Win 7 keys and rather then buy another figured i'd just use my XP pro. Problem is ATI website has jack and . for this mobile video card. The site says something like "blah blah agreement with manfacturers blah blah we don't have drivers for you". So I go to the HP website. And they don't have a driver for XP. And I searched for other places that might have a driver but it seems only HP made anything with this particular video card (ATI HD 3410). Any ideas? Coors Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 (edited) I think I got it resolved. Found a driver that installed and seems to be good so far using this method: http://superuser.com...on-dv2-notebook edit: except the driver is as old as dirt and runs like .. Can't even open up worms. ATI can go suck a ....I think i'll go with Nvidia for now on after this .. Not providing drivers for your cards is bull crap...
