I 'was' under the very same impression earlier today before seeing your post. I thought that biostar is a crap brand just like ECS or DFI.

ECS are probably one of the lower tier but I her they have something in store too.

i have a asus m5a78l-m lx. its a am3+. its been a great board. it overclocks great. i ran my fx6100 at 4.5 for six months before i upgraded to a sabertooth and i've only gotton another 2.8 out of it. also you can find this board and a phenom ii x4 830 for less than 100 at microcenter. i have a athlon ii x2 250 3.0 it's been running stable at 3.6 for a year or better. there 55 bucks at newegg.
