I may end up repainting my whole case again haven't decided but I am also think of getting some flashing or light gauge sheet metal to make a rad shroud out of for the top of my case not sure how much extreme modding I am going to do just yet :)

  • 4 weeks later...

Work starts tomorrow on this boinker and I are talking about the heat this comp will be under since its in an uncooled warehouse where the temps during the summer stay at or above outside ambient so if its 100 out side its about 105 inside. we have regular tubing but thinking of getting something a bit more heat resistant though not sure what yet.

And yup I was wearing the OCC shirt and boinker was in the chair :)

Good looking build.

I wonder -

if you had a small fridge with a A/C evaporator core inside and

routed your liquid lines thru it,

how much overclocking you could get with a super cool cpu?

You'd burn out the fridge really quickly. :P

+1

They are designed for cycles of on and off not permenamtly running. They are also only designed to keep cool things cold not to cool down hot things.

Add a peltier of you want to drop the temps quick.
