Gremlin Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Well a coworkers son wants to build a gaming pc and wants to capture movies. I found one called Elgato game capture HD.. But it only does Consoles.. Gremlin Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Thank you I just wanted to make sure if i was not missing out anything regarding Elgato this line : Record your PlayStation or Xbox gameplay to a Mac or PCand the youtube video shows it is for only consoles only. So just few minuted ago i found this video: on how to trick it.. I will give that guy options what he wants to do .. VaporX Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 The Hauppauge PVR2 is awesome, we have one in house right now. It does limit you to 1080 resolution but there is zero performance hit, meaning even if you are recording back to the computer you are playing on you do not need to lower settings. Also works with BluRay and standard DVD players so you can make a back up of your movies, use it on your game consoles, any device with HDMI output.
