  1. I'd say around 8 years. Six seems a little low considering that it's been around 5-6 years since the 360 arrived and we are nowhere near close to actually needing a stronger console. I mean sure, they could crank one out and people would buy it, but since there's no need to and the systems they have for the current ones work I can't see them changing it anytime soon.
  2. You realize that the Modern Warflunkies will never even look at LFD2, don't you? I mean, the ACR is just so shiny...
  3. I do think that it is a valid point that most of the bugs should be fixed when the game is actually released. As for complaints, well, isn't that the point of beta in general? They want you to complain. That's how they fix things. If everything worked perfectly they wouldn't have a beta, you would have a game. So complain all you want, but I don't think you can jrage on a game that's in a beta for having a few bugs... As for the beta itself it does seem like the game's gonna need some polish before it hits shelves. I mean, whats the point of being a sniper when you don't get a sniper rifle? It's an M21 with a red dot sight!!! And it's outclassed by the default assault rifles. Oh, and somehow they thought that in a true "realistic shooter" it would make perfect sense to have the ability to tank .50 cal rounds, making snipers useless... Besides that my only real problem with the game is that the maps that are out now both feel like a developer vomited physics objects all over them. Seriously. Hopefully the maps included in the retail game will be less schizophrenic.
  4. I'd probably say it's a tie between Blizzard and Infinity Ward. If you had to put them up against one another Blizzard would probably win just due to the sheer numbers they've pulled in with WoW, but aside from that, their other games don't really interest me at all. I mean Starcraft was good, but it was way too mosh pit styled for me as an RTS gamer. Infinity Ward makes the cut with me for being able to pull of COD4 and then make an even better game by the name of MW2.
  5. Yes, and I kind of felt like, "Well, what's the point of buying the game if the WHOLE PLOT was just seemingly laid out for me..." But in all, I think that the Japanese voice-acting was superior, mainly due to the fact that if you listened to that first and the English second, the personalities of the characters became hopelessly lost in "translation".
  6. So as far as I can see this game is going to be a lot darker than the previous installment. From nearly every video I've seen it looks grittier, scarier, and much more "oh god what happened here" than any game, barring LFD 2, that's out on the market. One of the main gameplay mechanics that I'm looking forward to is the introduction of the new Husk combinations and the emergence of the new Collector race. I don't know about you guys, but playing through the same generic go here kill some husks, go home missions from the first game left me quite pissed off. I mean, if you're going to promise a universe to explore, at least give me more than 2 enemy types to kill, right? Hopefully, these new enemies will solve that problem, but I'm hoping that the extra planet missions will have a little more depth.
