Well, I just upgraded this system not too long ago, but if I won the XFX PSU I'd spec out a new one. :D

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula

G.Skill 8GB DDR3-1600

XFX Black Edition 6870s in Crossfire

Corsair 128GB SSD

WD 2TB HDD

Cooler Master HAF X

I think that'd cover it.

This is a contest that I will actually enter as I could use a new XFX PSU...

The rig I would build with this new PSU would be...

Asus M4A890GXpro (already have it)

AMD 1075T 6-core CPU (already Have it)

Muskin 2x2gb DDR3 1600 (already Have it)

Sata 3 128gb SSD (need it)

XFX 5830 Video card (already have it)

PSU? of coarse the XFX one!!! this is really the only thing I am missing other than an SSD for this rig....been a long time in the works.

Tonight I'll pray extra to Jesus and to XFX :)

If I won I'd keep my current rig with a few upgrades

-750W XFX PSU of course

-8GB Kingston DDR3 1600 up from 4GB

-Upgrade to 2x Ati 6870's (maybe even XFX :))

-i7 875k @ 4.35GHz

-More SSD's, not sure what

-Cooler Master CM690 would stay because I love it

-Asus P7P55D-E PRO stays the same

-Asus Xonar Essence

Good luck everyone!

I personally don't need it or a new build for myself any time soon. But, I may be doing a presentation at my school about computers. Been thinking I could buy the components and explain each one as the computer is built in front of them, then give it away to someone in the audience. Because of how far off that is, I haven't any idea what the specs would be. I'd just look for what's a decent part and a decent price at that time. Of course, an XFX PSU that's 80+ Bronze Certified given away in a contest is better than decent, and free is an awesome price, so why not enter this?

(Note to self: hunt down the guy I'd be doing the presentation with, so we can plan it out and decide if we will be able to do it.)

M3N78-EMH HDMI : AMD Athlon 64 4600+ : Scythe Zipang CPU Cooler : 2x2GB Corsair TWIN2X PC8500 DDR2 CL5 : ASUS EN7950GX2 : XFX Pro750 Watt PSU : Cooler Master CM 690 : Windows XP Media Center 2005 : 160GB Samsung Spinpoint (2006/10) : 500 GB WD Caviar Black :

If I upgraded the PSU with this I could run the 7950GX2 without problems which would be nicer than nVidia 8200 IGP :(

I put in the 7950GX2 because If I had the XFX Pro750 Watt I could run it properly.

Or possible purchase of an XFX 4870(my PSU can't supppoert it)... boy that'll make my day :)

I never win nothing :( Please change this ;)
