Shurman292 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 No, but I'm looking to build a Plex home server soon
Onion Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Nope. I was thinking of doing it at one point but I ran into some issues. Now I live alone, so I don't need anything. Closest thing I have to a NAS is an external hard drive hooked up to my router.
Nephilumos Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Yup. Two. Backup to one, backup that backup to the other.
Waco Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 12 TB hanging off of my HTPC is my "NAS". Just external SATA boxes but they work well and can be grabbed in a pinch if need be (the two boxes of 6 TB each are mirrored to each other). d6bmg Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) No. Due to lack of availability at a descent price in my country. Although I have a mini media server at my home of 4TB capacity, that can't be considered as a real NAS. You can still call it a nas with FreeNAS Yeah, then it would be considered as mini NAS, but not exactly a real NAS with many hotswap bays.
