I don't know if BP is looking at it through jaded eyes or simply has a different sense of what quality looks like, but how can she LIKE those two screws on the ear cups?! That looks incredibly cheap. What next, duct tape? And while a detachable cable is nice if you're going to throw them in your bag, I think the detachable mic is pointless, as mine just swivels out of the way and looks way better. Maybe if the mic connection sat flush against the cup, but it doesn't, it sticks out. Again, just a cheap look to it and not something I'd expect of a high quality product. The detachable mic and cable are something I see as a huge plus too - it lets you use them on airplanes or something similar without looking like a total dork. As for the bolts - she didn't say she liked them. She said she liked that they came apart easily. I think they look great too and they are built quite well.
