If it's got heatsinks on it, the chips don't have the part number or logo of a chip maker, or are factory overclocked, be suspicious. We appreciate you jumping in here and attempting to help, but your post is so far off base that I have to recommend that no one take your advice with anything other than a grain of salt. Any known good memory is fine for testing as long as it is the correct speed, form factor and voltage.
