phil69 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) My 128GB went dead after working perfectly for six months. I contacted PNY by email and received a new one within a week. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or it was just something wrong with the flash drive. While searching their site I noticed this deal. I think it's a good price for a nice flash drive without messing around with a rebate. $30 http://www.pny.com/Turbo_3_0_USB_Flash_Drive?sku=P-FD128TBOP-GE Phil Edited October 25, 2014 by phil69
BluePanda Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 That is a good deal. Got mine with rebates awhile back. I love it and it is indeed fast.
El_Capitan Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Yeah, great price, good speed. It's always good to have a handy (and speedy) USB Flash drive around.
potatochobit Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 can this be used to run windows 7?
El_Capitan Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Windows 7 is tricky, but it can run Windows 8 To Go easily enough (not Windows 8.1 To Go, however).
IVIYTH0S Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I love my PNY Turbo 128GB, I bought two of these one for $40 after MIR (which was stellar at that time) and then one for $5 after MIR since I was so in love with the first (sold one to my dad). But yeah, $30 is a great deal with no fuss with rebates. I can't recommend this flash drive enough!

El_Capitan Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Glad I was able to contribute some useful info to this forum since I received so much. Phil Amen to that. If it wasn't for OCC, I wouldn't know so much about hardware and overclocking, etc. The downside is, it's a time-consuming hobby. ivangela Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Why are HDDs so expensive with SSDs being so cheap now. I mean I saw a 1TB SSD for like $400+ I know they're dif't tech, platters etc, but you'd think they'd get wayyyy cheaper.
