IVIYTH0S Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Welcome to OCC!! Seems like an ok machine, I'd of probably gone used and gotten a better video card though if it were me, the rest is fine though.

Welcome to OCC, and +1 with IVI, maybe even a r270 if you could swing it.
Fight Game Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 with WOW using at least 2 cores by itself, I would get a quad core cpu so that it will be efficient while running windows and other tasks in the backround. What system are you using now? You may be better off simply upgrading that one and also save money
Murdock212 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 My old pc was a phenom 3 core that the motherboard got fried by the psu. I have read great reports about the G3258 when overclocked and the way it performs when playing warcraft. I could still change the Gpu as it's not been sent to me yet. bishop245 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I used to play WoW on my netbook but had the graphics turned down of course. That machine should do ok but may suffer when in a major city.

Murdock212 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Thank you for the links, what would you say is better the R9 you linked or the Gtx 750ti ?
Puck Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 270 is a stellar card for a budget build. Paired a non-reference short 270x (was only like $10 more then the 270) with a 4430 on an Asus ITX mobo in a 250D for a killer little mid range rig for a friend of mine, surprisingly fast for its price.
