Corsair Obsidian 450d fan questions

Recommended Posts

I just built a PC with this case, 4690k cpu, and H60 water cooling system.  I took the back exhaust 120 mm fan and put it on top of the case to exhaust hot air.  This fan needed to be removed when you install the H60.  So, the question is whether I can expect the temps to drop much if I put 2 140 mm fans on top exhausting air.  Instead of just one 120 mm fan.

Second question, just for looks I am considering switching the front fans to red 140 mm LED's.  I would not want to lose cooling performance or make the case too noisy, however.  Any fan recommendations for this?

Hello Cyb,.. and welcome to OCC

Adding a 120mm fan to the top is fine heat rises,.. hopefully your motherboard has fan headers use them and you can slow it down if it's loud,.. if you have two 140mm intake fans on the front then you can easy add 140mm to top.

Check price for adding red LED light in front fan area http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=72&zenid=d4374ebadaec702da5a3f2c2283a52a7,.. instead of replacing new working fans.
