Onion Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 How do I center the page in Word 2010? I just reinstalled office and I was presented with this travesty.
EuroFight Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Just let me make you feel like an idiot: Zoom in
Onion Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I don't want to be zoomed in, the text is too big. It was zoomed in to 150% when I installed it, then I went back out to 100% because my eyes still work fine *cough cough* and I then ran into this malarkey. EuroFight Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 That's the only way I have managed it, I'm not sure it's possible any other way, I think it's just one of Word 2010's built in features to annoy you...
Prunes Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 It's not possible to do it any other way. At least I've never seen/heard of any other way. You can zoom in or rescale the window. I don't mind though, cause I usually have another window open, so I can have the two windows open next to each other. I use it a lot for assignments. Guest_Jim_* Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Change the view setting. Currently it appears you have it set to Two-Page view and because there is one page, it puts it on the left.
Nemo Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Change the view setting. Currently it appears you have it set to Two-Page view and because there is one page, it puts it on the left. This^ I have Word 2010 set to Print Layout view, 100% and Single Page and it centers the page on the screen.
Onion Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I keep clicking the "one page" button, but it just zooms me out to 79%. When I zoom back in to 100%, it makes it two pages side by side again.
Onion Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Closed my document and opened it again, then I did the one page thing again, and now it works great. Thanks guys.

Glad to hear this reply because I checked my solution before I posted it. It would be awkward if it didn't work.
