suchuwato Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 So GoDaddy is epic fail, and I've recently canceled all my products with them. Anybody have any suggestions for an alternative? I don't need a bazillion features, just all the usual gubbins (php/sql/etc) and FTP access.
SpeedCrazy Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Site 5, slightly more expensive but premium service with unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Their customer service is great, very responsive and helpful. I think about $4.95 a month for 2 year, 5.95 for 1 year.

Fragsman Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) Well I have hosted one simple site I made for interacting with other players of my Guild of Mu Online RPG in 2007. It's still online www.mundanosguild.com.ar I hosted it in AwardSpace. You can have free or paid access. It have Mysql, PHP5, FTP, etc. The only problem I found is I cannot access it from my work. There must be some firewall in the middle. But apart from that looks ok. Edited July 13, 2011 by loco_frags
