  1. Yep that is the place i found out this info, but I didn't see any GT bioses for my BDG PCI express 6800Ultra OC, it looked like everything was AGP Could be Iv'e been running on 5 hours sleep a day for the last 2 weeks too :shake:
  2. Grabbed a 4000+ along with a gig of Corsair PC3200 LL and did a bit more tweaking. Made it to 17th with air cooling and just a bit of overclocking, time to take it up a notch! Need to flash a new Bios into the vid cards, I have been reading up a bit, but still haven't tried doing my own yet, it didn't seem to take using NBITOR. Any body have a modded one that can get me 1.5v on the BFG Ultra OC PCI express? I read the GT Bios has tighter timings and might even be a better option, any recomendations?
  3. Yes, I pretty exited about it, Zenn is in the middle of a move ATM, so I will have to muddle on through till he gets settled in. Had some luck with the tune up on the Winnie last night, worth another 200 points on the ORB, waiting for the UPS guy to show up...I'm supposed to be at work
  4. Just finished a shake down run with a pair of BFG 6800's and a 3000+ and stock AMD HSF. I had to use some old Geil Platinum 2x256 PC4000 (9x240 CAS 3-4-4-10 2T  ) This old memory won't run 1T at any speed, so keep that in mind, this is just a "Baby Picture" right out of the delivery room http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=633545 My GSKILL TCCD 1GB PC4800 showed up today, but I wasn't home to recieve it! A FX-55 should be on the way as soon as I can find one at a price I'm willing to pay... Zennzzo is putting together a 3 headed phase change using SLI blocks form Chilly 1, I hope to get that by the end of this month. I was pleased with the baseline numbers (Number 63 on the ORB using default search settings) considering the lack of test and tune time and odd combo of hardware. As soon as the GSKILL shows up, and I have had time to pop on the trusty ol' Zally HSF, these air cooled numbers should go up quite a bit I will be doing a bit more testing tonight, I forgot to check the Jumper settings on the Motherboard for SLI mode when I put it together, although it appears to be working, I was wondering if it would work but not be"Optimal" if they were in the wrong spot? Also gotta do a bit of research on this "Throttle" issue NVIDA has, I have been using ATI for far too long....
  5. 256MB Geil PC4400 CAS 3-4-4-4-16-16 (2t) @285FSBx8 (1to1) 2.9v I just did a few quick tests, seems stable so far Note: Did not like 1t settings very much at high FSB, I didn't play around with the settings very much to fine tune for it...I was getting 36sec Super Pi 1MB with Crucial Ballistix at 9x275 cas 3-4-4-4 (1t) EDIT: This surprised me...300FSB 1to1, better than the Crucial Ballistix (Stops passing mem test 280ish) but only 256MB...
  6. Hmm I have some Geil PC4000 in my Mobile 2500+ LPB.. I suppose I could swap it over to my Sempron 3100/DFI N-250 LP and tell ya what happens..gimme a little bit and I'll let you know!
  7. Hello all, 1st post here, thought this would be a good spot since I have had a bit more luck with my 3100+ So far I am using a stock HSF and Crucial Ballistix 512MB PC3200, a Thermalright XP120 should be on the way soon! I am still trying to learn all the new settings for this board, I have played around with 300+FSB on it with mem dividers just for kicks. Just downloaded the Oscar 10-05 Bios, (seems like a good stable choice) I had just found in another thread why I could never disable thermal throttling in the stock bios without having to reset CMOS.. EDIT..just flashed new Bios..No more thermal throttling! Any body have any recomendations for Crucial Ballistix memory? everyone always mentions settings for TCCD or BH-5, I have read many threads and just keep spinning my wheels trying to figure it out. (Tried Oscar's 300x8 TCCD settings) Aren't they the same chips as OCZ 3700EB (Micron or Hynix???) So far anything above 270FSB at CAS 3-3-3-8 1t seems flakey after a while. looser timings and 2t kill my scores! What is a good voltage for it? I have tried 2.9-3.1v and it doesnt seem to make much difference.
