Scorpian Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Greeting everyone, I just started on here, seen a buch of nice and informative topics. I'm building a new PC and would like some imput from all the experianced ppl on here. Components that's I'll be using are: Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119225 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116501 MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131934 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233279 PS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139044 GCx2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129266 I'm planning to over clock it, and can't figure out which cooling system would best. I've never done a WC and wouldn't mind trying it since i hear they tend to keep everything cooler. Any advice on the cooling system would be more then welcome, as well as what brands i should look into. Maybe even things i might need to WC the GC's
Black64 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Unless you want extreme OCs, fans will do just fine on keeping your systems cool. Buy enough enough to fill your case. Also expect to spend 500+ on WCing. But your system should be plenty powerful for gaming.

Jenova69 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Watercooling doesn't even come close to $500 unless your buying all aquacomputer stuff or have a ridiculous amounts of cooling power. You would be fine with air but that's no fun . You could go snag an xspc rasa kit for under $150 and build up the kit from there if it turns out you like it You will be glad you went water when you start pushing clocks on that 3770k though.
