I can say that the Coolermaster Haf Xb Evo is a great case with plenty of room for everything you will put in it, but yes it is big as far as cubes go, just not sure I would want to swap it for another now that I know how well it works. Replacement parts for it are dirt cheap through Coolernaster as well and you can even order a top that already has plexi in it if you like.

Only other case that I have given a thought since I bought the Xb is the Corsair Air 540. It's a pretty decent looking case with a slightly smaller footprint with the motherboard being mounted vertically.

I have the Coolmaster Haf XB Evo, and it is big (horizontally-wise). It does have some limitations, but won't limit anything you've mentioned.

You might want to try out the Carbide Series Air 540 Cube Case. It's more of a rectangle than a cube, though. I love it, though.

I don't know many cube cases unfortunately. These are my suggestions based on price limit and about the heat two video cards, let alone R9 290s produce

These aren't in order and can be find on sale much cheaper than retail

Phanteks Enthoo Pro

AZZA XT1

Thermaltake Core V71

NZXT H440 (Maybe, I ran Titans folding for a day and the metal becaues extermely hot to the touch.

Thermaltake V71 was able to handle three cards folding easily.
